Sport, excitement and atmosphere – that is what Miles for Smiles in Bruges is all about. Teams of four compete against each other to run as many miles as possible at the Bruges Meeting & Convention Centre (BMCC) – all to raise money for charity. John&Jane makes Sense transforms the running event into a complete experience centred on energy and emotion.

Powered by people, driven by experience

In 2026, John&Jane makes Sense created an illuminated route along the course on ’t Zand and the city ramparts. Inside the BMCC, lighting and audio were used to create a dynamic event space. From the pre-race warm-up and crowd support through to the awards ceremony and afterparty, every part of the event flowed seamlessly into the next.

Achieving this required a major technical upgrade. With our new L-Acoustics system, we delivered a powerful, crystal-clear sound experience that matched the energy of the event. The L2 made a real impact in the venue. Top DJs including MATTN and Viktor Verhulst brought the evening to a stylish close, taking the event from sporting achievement to an unforgettable party experience.
